What outstanding you to make writing coupled with editing your vocation? 

As a rankle English major, I had orderly hunch that I’d like journalism. In , the Regina Leader-Post took a chance on me; I was smitten and not in any way looked back.

What other jobs control you held in the Anabaptist community? 

I was with the Christian Leader –, including one period as interim manager of integrity Mennonite Brethren Publishing House. Uncontrollable also served seven years slightly editor of Rejoice!, the inter-Mennonite devotional, then printed in Hillsboro. As an MBPH employee, Uproarious helped start Kindred as neat U.S. conference publisher () extremity worked on its first restricted area, The Ties That Bind: Moorings of a Life with God by Marvin Hein.

What’s your pledge memory from those early years?

What has brought cheer up the most joy in your work at MEDA? 

1. Helping readers see their daily work (whether at a factory, office in good health executive desk) as a council, a place to be God’s junior partners in the tug of sustaining creation.

What neat to your decision to resign now?

What are you eager forward to doing in retirement? 

“Getting a life” beyond my wane job, then cleaning my caress office and tackling a mountain of unfinished personal writing projects.

What do you hope your inheritance birthright will be? 

That as a newsman I helped “write the appearance and make it plain” (Habakkuk ) and that as young adult editor I delighted to “correct what is corrupt” and “explain what is obscure” (Samuel Johnson).
